Blayney Circle Early Learning
The Building Better Communities fund from Bernardis has made a significant impact on Blayney Circle Early Learning. With a grant of $2,500, the community organization was able to create an edible garden, which has become a valuable educational tool. This garden provides children with firsthand experience in sustainability, teaching them about growing and harvesting vegetables. Blayney Men's Shed
Blayney Men’s Shed is a vibrant community hub where individuals come together to relax, socialize, and engage in various activities. This year, the Shed benefited from the Building Better Communities program, receiving $1,500 through a green button collection initiative. These funds were used to purchase new tools and improve their facilities, enhancing their ability to serve the community.
St. Vincent De Paul
Each year, Bernardi’s donates over $5,000 to the at Christmas time to allow St Vincent’s to hand out Bernardi’s vouchers for those who need support with household groceries during this time.
Forbes Preschool
With the support from Bernardi’s, the preschool was able to launch a popup initiative that extended beyond just educational purposes. The grant enabled them to address and enhance vulnerable areas of the town, focusing on revitalizing parks and creating safer, more welcoming spaces for families. This collaboration with Bernardi’s and the local council has had a significant impact, promoting health and well-being in the community and demonstrating how strategic investments in local infrastructure can lead to better outcomes for residents.
Gunn's Mensland
Bernardi’s sources all of it’s uniforms via Gunn’s Mensland in Forbes. This collaboration underscores the importance of local economic activity. By keeping business within the community, Gunn’s Mensland helps reinvest funds back into the town, supporting local growth and business expansion.
